Dance Free CIC has been awarded as a good cause for funding by the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund 2024.

We're excited to bring free-movement dance in nature to the communities of Hartsholme, Birchwood and Doddington Park area in Lincoln City. Our 6-session programme at Hartsholme Park Woodland, from 6th June to 26th July 2025, will be offered as a complimentary activity for all local residents. Book on the events.

This project is close to our hearts, as we know how powerfully dance connects people, reduces social isolation, and boosts mental wellbeing.

Our own community survey in 2023 showed that 75% of participants feel more socially connected through dance, and research consistently demonstrates its positive in this way. (Taylor et al 2020 and Williams 2021).
